Steve Moe
Steve Moe is a dedicated and accomplished hockey coach with over 18 years of coaching and instructional experience at multiple competitive levels. Steve has spent 12 years as a high school hockey coach, including five years as Head Boys Varsity Coach in Coon Rapids, where he led his program with a strong emphasis on player development, accountability, and team culture.
In addition to his high school coaching experience, Steve has spent the last-six years as the lead instructor at Intensity Hockey Camp held at the National Sports Center, working with athletes from across the region to refine skills, improve hockey IQ, and build competitive habits.
Steve has also contributed to player evaluation and advancement as a 10-year evaluator for the Minnesota Hockey High Performance Program, helping identify and develop top-tier talent throughout the state. He is a USA Hockey Level 4 Certified Coach, demonstrating his commitment to ongoing professional development and coaching excellence.
As a former player, Steve competed at the collegiate level for the University of Wisconsin–River Falls, where he was a four-year letter winner and served as team captain for one season. His playing experience continues to influence his coaching philosophy, grounded in leadership, discipline, and a deep understanding of the game.
