Fall Squirt League

The Fall Squirt League is designed for Mites that are moving up to Squirts. It is also designed to prep all squirts for the upcoming hockey season tryouts. All Squirt level abilities are welcome. Fall season will consist of 60 skaters and 4 goalies, there are opportunities for practice players if desired.

GOALIES will be offered 2 hours of practice. Goalies have the option to attend both practice sessions. They will be able to practice with their teams as well as having an on ice mentor to work with them on their skills.

Games will have referees. We are going to bring a high energy atmosphere with announcers announcing goals and assists. Music will be played throughout the game as well!

Ages

This is designed for players that are current squirts/ 10U, and Mite or 8U players that are moving to Squirt or 10U this coming season.

If you do not fall within the age group described above, please feel free to reach out to discuss.

When

Season runs from July 14 to September 2nd.

Evaluation date is June 24th. Group 1 will be at 6.00pm and Group 2 will be at 7:10pm

Where

Games and Practices will be held at Furniture and Things Community Center in Elk River.

Practices will be on Tuesday

Games will be on Wednesday.

Practices

Practices are typically scheduled on the Kiser rink Tuesday nights between 5pm and 6:10pm start times.
Practices will consist of 2 teams on the ice.
Goalies will have the ability to work on their skills as well.

Games

Games are played on Cornerstone Wednesday nights. Start Times are 5pm and 6:10pm.

Teams will also be playing for the title at the end of the season.

Jerseys

Jerseys and socks will be provided and are part of the registration cost.

Parent Meeting

There will be a parent meeting held before the season starts.
